Campus Improvements Afoot
Big changes are happening this summer on North House's campus in Grand Marais. There's a new timbered stairway under construction, an improved bike trail, and a more visible crosswalk to keep students safe when crossing the highway.
Re-building our new east campus entrance in collaboration with North House's neighbors Fisherman's Daughter and Angry Trout is nearly complete. A new driveway improves access to the east side of campus and links into the new bike trail and sidewalks installed this summer. Young trees have been placed in the boulevards. Additional grading and landscaping work will be completed in the coming months, along with a timbered stairway just to the east of our little yellow house.
Special thanks to key funders of the project including the Mardag Foundation and the IRRRB.
