North House brings craft kits to Cook County Elementary School Students!

North House instructor Marybeth Garmoe delivered 90 kits for local upper elementary school students to create insect hotels last Friday. Kits will go out to local students through the school bus routes this week. They contain all the materials needed and directions to create an insect hotel, providing habitat in kids' backyards for all kinds of interesting insects. Marybeth also created a video tutorial showing students how to assemble the hotel, which you can check out here: www.northhouse.org/InsectHotel. Teachers and families are excited to receive craft projects from North House during this extended time of distance learning.
