Theresa has always been fascinated with color, fiber, and learning new things.  She began experimenting with dyeing her own fiber as a teenager.  As a biologist and avid gardener, natural dyes became a logical area of research.  Now retired from the college classroom, she works with the Nice Girls of the North art cooperative, teaches craft classes, and squeaks in time to create things for herself. She is the author of Invasive Color: Using Invasive Species as Natural Dyes.
