Jess is a sculptor with a strong love for the utilitarian object. Her visual art practice is enthralled with wellness and alternative medicine, making objects that heal the body. She began spoon carving seven years ago and studies bowl turning through a Minnesota State Arts Board Folk and Traditional Craft Grant.
