Elizabeth Belz is a blacksmith, artist, and educator originally from Stillwater, MN. She was a craft education intern at North House in 2016, and a blacksmithing apprentice at the National Ornamental Metal Museum, in Memphis, TN, 2018-2020. Elizabeth was the resident sculpture artist with the Science Museum of Minnesota in 2017 and has been awarded numerous grants to aid in the production and development of her work. Places of study include: Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Penland School of Craft, Appalachian Center for Craft, Raspberry Island Folk School, and John C. Campbell Folk School. Elizabeth shows and competes internationally in blacksmithing events and has done so for the last four years.
