Becky Utecht raises sheep and makes art in rural Ogilvie, MN. She's passionate about fiber arts (skinnfell, felting, spinning, knitting, weaving) and promoting humane, sustainable sheep and wool production in the U.S. She has taught hundreds of students the magic of felting and Scandinavian Skinnfell in classes held regionally and nationally. She studied with renowned feltmakers over the years and she continues to learn and exchange ideas. As an American Scandinavian Foundation Folk Arts fellow, she studied advanced Skinnfell techniques in Norway in 2025.
