Create your own fiber adventure spinning, knitting, felting, sewing, beading and more!
Wool, woodstoves, and winter weave together for a cozy week at North House each February. Join us on campus for this special week-long gathering that celebrates all manner of fiber arts. Featuring speakers, demonstrations, community gatherings, and coursework from long-time North House instructors as well as new guest artisans; tuck in to the warm and wooly camaraderie this winter.

2023 Catalog Launch Party
North House staff and instructors are throwing a celebration of the year ahead. Join us in Minneapolis Feb. 19th from 3-5 pm at Fulton Beer or in Grand Marais Feb. 21st from 5-7pm at Voyageur Brewing. You'll have a chance to learn more about new classes, connect with instructors, and get to know other crafty folks ahead of the March 1st opening of new coursework.

Craft in America's HOME episode highlights North House Folk School
North House is pleased to be featured in an upcoming episode of the Award-winning PBS series Craft in America, that will debut nationwide December 16th!
The episode titled HOME features North House Folk School’s timber framing programs, as well as instructor Biskakone Greg Johnson’s connection with traditional Ojibwe crafts from his home in Lac Du Flambeau. The episode also features other artists whose work explores what HOME can mean.
