Nate Johnson lives in northern Minnesota.  He teaches various craft classes, including hide tanning, birch bark canoe building, snowshoe making, basketry, and others.  He also makes and sells knives and tools, harvests wild rice, eats plants and wild animals, stitches up some homemade clothing now and then, and wonders when he will pick up that fiddle.
