Course Overview

Sew your own pair of beaver fur mittens and never have cold hands again! Hand-stitched with a deerskin palm and a fleece liner, these comfortable and durable mittens are a great addition to the northern winter. We will learn simple but important techniques for sewing with fur and leather that can be applied to a variety of projects. Previous sewing experience is not required. Youth ages 14+ may register if accompanied by an adult. Adult/child pairs will complete two projects and pay two materials fees. A 25% tuition discount applies to the youth registrant when registering with a full paying adult; call to register. Students ages 16+ may register independently.
