Hannah Miner

Tacoma, WA

Hannah has loved to work with textiles since she learned to knit and sew as a child. She most enjoys using her skills and experience to fix clothing and gear and to support others to learn to do repairs themselves.

When she is not testing and maintaining field gear and sewing machines in the Berg Field Center at McMurdo Research Station in Antarctica, Hannah is fixing her co-worker and neighbors' clothes as a founding member of the McMurdo Mending Guild or hosting a weekly mending how-to clinic.
