Learn to identify the wildflowers of late summer and early fall. Yes, the asters and goldenrod have begun blooming by mid-August in this part of the natural world. You'll even have the chance to go grazing, as we enjoy wild fruits such as serviceberries, wild raspberries and thimbleberries. We'll also learn appropriate techniques for identifying some of the summer trees of the boreal forest.
