Course Overview

From birds to beads, there are so many possibilities when it comes to birch bark. Join accomplished weavers Jack and Julie to learn to weave a variety of small projects, including garlands and a three dimensional star and more. Learn about the ecology of this iconic northern tree and leave with multiple lovely things to keep or give away.

Optional Tools and Materials

Feel free to bring your favorite tools and whatever materials you might feel appropriate for this course. Beads or other embellishments to include in your ornaments are nice to have on hand, though the instructor will have choices available as well.
