Community Art Project: Forest Resiliency Drop-In Craft
Sat, Nov 7th, 2026

Program Overview

Come be a part of a community art project! Following the First Friday presentation by DNR Resource Specialist Liza McCarthy on Future Forests in North Shore State Parks, we will be continuing the forest resiliency theme with a drop-in craft from 10-4 in the Blue Building.

Centered around starting a conversation about forest health along the North Shore, we will be creating and adorning birch bark leaves to put on a felted tapestry. Come ready to get your hands on some bark, beads, pigment paints, and more! Finished piece will be on display at Winterers' Gathering and Arctic Film Festival in late November.

Cookies and hot apple cider provided! All ages and abilities.
