Community Weekends at North House

A monthly series of community gatherings on the North House campus. Meet on the commons and the Blue Building each month for activities, speakers, dancing, games, and more! See First Fridays information and dates below. Join us most Saturdays during the first weekend each month for a drop-in craft from 10am-4pm in the Blue Building. First Friday Community Programs

January 2nd

Dinner on a stick, starting at 5:30, followed by Game Night! Bring your favorite board game or choose one from our collection. Enjoy free popcorn while you play.  Challenge your friend to a cribbage match, grab a partner for a round of euchre, or learn about ancient, handmade games and give some a try with Jake Fee! 

February 6th

Dinner on the stick, followed by a Community Contra Dance! Kick up your heels with friends and warm up on a cold winter night. Dances will be called, and no experience is required, 6:00-7:30pm.

March 6th

Dinner on the stick, then, as a part of our annual Wood Week programming, come see this year's featured speaker! Info coming soon. 

April 3rd

You're invited to our second annual community pizza bake! Please visit the Community Pizza Bake page for more info.

May 1st

Dinner on a stick, followed by a free community concert! Info available soon. 

Open Fire Dinner on a Stick

Most First Fridays (except pizza bake in April) 5:30-6:30pm

Gather around a bonfire and cook over an open fire as a community. Participants bring their own food; we’ll provide the fire and the pointy sticks. Sausages to steaks, pudgie pies to home fries, it’s all welcome. The fire will be ready by 5:30. Bundle up! Location: Commons
