Program Overview

The First Friday night of each month, January-May 2025

A monthly community gathering on the North House campus. Meet on the commons and the Blue Building each month for activies, speakers, dancing, games, and more! 

Open Fire Dinner on a Stick

5:30-6:30pm

Gather around a bonfire and cook over an open fire as a community. Participants bring their own food; we’ll provide the fire and the pointy sticks. Sausages to steaks, pudgie pies to home fries, it’s all welcome. The fire will be ready by 5:30. Bundle up! Location: Commons

Monthly Programs

January

After dinner on a stick on the commons, join us at 6:30 in the Blue Building for Greenland: Where Ice is Born with local explorer Lonnie Dupre. A one hour presentation on Greenland and an introduction to the upcoming sailing expedition 'Nord Hus,' projected to leave the Grand Marais harbor this spring.

February, March, April, and May programming TBA!
