Mette’s photography has graced the pages of numerous books, magazines and newspapers. Her true passion is photographing food, farms and farmers, in the studio and in the field. A talented master gardener, Mette created the edible garden for The Birchwood Cafe, and photographed the harvest in the Cafe’s new cookbook. Mette brings her knowledge of preserving and her Danish heritage in Savory Sweet: Simple Preserves from a Northern Kitchen (co-authored with Beth). Beth Dooley and Mette collaborated on Minnesota’s Bounty: The Farmers Market Cookbook. Their work appears regularly in The Star Tribune.
