Marco has been cutting all his own firewood and skidding it home mostly with work horses, among other random occupational pursuits since moving to Northern Minnesota from Minneapolis in 1975. A former interpreter at the Minnesota Historical Society’s Forest History Center, he has at least been pretending to be a modern lumberjack and horselogger since that time, after graduating with a BA in Theatre Arts and English from Augsburg College.
