North House Folk School

Kjetil “KJ” Groven grew up in Skien Norway, but home is now South Dakota. Working with his hands was always what gave the most joy, after a detour as an agricultural mechanic and mechanical engineer, he is now back to working with his hands. Having a blacksmith/woodworking studio by the foot hills of the black hills, with endless prairie views to the east. Here he crafts a little bit of everything Scandinavian folk art. Wood working tools has been the main focus lately.
