Brandon Ternes

Brandon discovered his love for working with dough the moment he slid his first loaf from the oven. That experience sparked a deep fascination with fermentation, the character of different grains, and a desire to understand what happens beyond the recipe. He enjoys adapting traditional techniques to make baking both flexible and fulfilling. As a teacher, Brandon enjoys helping students build confidence as they learn to read dough through touch, smell, and observation. For him, making food by hand is a way of participating in traditions that have connected people throughout history. He hopes his classes give students the skills and understanding to bring those traditions into their own kitchens.
