Campfire Cookery

Course Overview

Learn how to build a campfire and use it to prepare a wide variety of foods with confidence. Class includes instructions on how to cook over an open fire and then use a reflector oven to bake, roast & keep foods warm. Construction and use of a tripod rotisserie to roast meats & poultry will also be covered. In addition, learn how to make a shore lunch which will be savored by the class on the shore of the Grand Marais harbor, weather permitting. Each student will take home recipes.
