Bread - there are few foods that are more satisfying. And yet, the time-tested techniques of hand-crafting traditional artisan breads intimidate many people. Discover the joy and satisfaction of creating artisan loaves of your own, baking them in North House's wood-fired brick oven - and then later on baking stones in your home oven! Learn the techniques of shaping boules and batards and the techniques of scoring your loaves of rustic French bread and rustic seven-grain bread. Each student will take home a hearty loaf and recipes to pursue their bread adventures.
