A handy set of canvas tool pouches is something anyone can make and use! Sew a set of two graduated, lined tool pouches that you can use to corral things like knitting notions, carving tools, or sketchbooks and pens. This course provides an opportunity for those new to the sewing machine to gain confidence through repetition, and leaves space for creativity and personalization through surface design. Students will also learn to install a zipper, a useful skill with many applications. Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine; be sure you can thread your machine and wind the bobbins.

You will need the following tools for this class:

North House will provide sewing machines, but please bring yours if you'd like to practice with it. Bring the instruction manual and all needed bobbins and needles.
