Special Event
Scandinavian Snack Breads: AM Session
Instructor:
Erin Swenson-Klatt
Course Overview
Get your picnic basket ready for summer adventures with this introduction to easy Scandinavian flatbreads - perfect for a trip outdoors or a rainy afternoon snack! We’ll bake a crisp cracker and soft rolls, both traditionally eaten topped with butter, cheese, and other savory goodies. By the end of class, you’ll be ready to put the Swedish tradition of fika, the coffee break, into action! Adult child pairs are welcome to work together on these recipes. Weather permitting, this class will use North House’s harbor side wood fired oven, but the recipes can easily be adapted for a home oven. Adult-child pairs pay a single tuition and materials fee.
