Course Overview

If you’ve ever imagined an alternative life for yourself as a baker, rising before the sun to walk the cobbled streets of old Stockholm to pull cardamom-scented baked goods from hot ovens, this might be the course for you. Indulge in three days of baking your way across a variety of Scandinavian traditions, learning techniques, tips, and tricks as your nosh your way through Bundt cakes, yeasted doughs, filled braids, pastries, and cookies. You will leave class with lots of goodies, plenty of recipes, and full bellies, as some desserts will just need to be eaten. The richness of the basic ingredients is sure to foster a love for this style of baking.
