Course Overview

The rigid heddle loom offers a wonderful variety of creative possibilities in a small, portable package. Learn to warp and weave on a Schacht Flip loom, and discover the ease of weaving beautiful pieces utilizing basic techniques. Students will make several cotton towels in a balanced weave structure, while learning how design and color choice will affect their towels.

Students ages 16+ may register for this course.

  • Tape measure
  • Pencil
  • Colored pencils
  • Graph paper

Session Information

This course is part of the 2024 Fiber Week! Plan to attend Fiber Friday on Friday, February 16, a day-long conference that features speakers, demonstrations, and community gatherings for anyone interested in fiber! Full schedule online January 2024.
