Pebble Jewelry Fabrication from Soup to Nuts
Course Overview
Welcome to the pebble jewelry fabrication workshop where you will make everything from soup to nuts! This includes making your own chain, jump rings, earring wires, pebble drilling, and stone setting, with a focus on bezel setting. Project options will be provided, but students are encouraged to follow their own creative path that could include designs incorporating stone-on-stone settings, crystals, buttons, or animal teeth. The basics of fabrication will be introduced, including sawing, drilling, filing, sanding, adding texture, soldering, sweat soldering, and stone setting. Please bring any cabochons, pebbles, crystals, or small elements you have for design consideration.
The workshop is beginner-friendly but open to all skill levels. All tools are provided. Sterling silver, copper, and brass metals, not including sterling silver sheet, will be available for purchase.
A materials fee of $55-$75 will be due to the instructor at the time of class.
