Course Overview

Bumps, bites, and bruises...oh my! Whether it's a scraped knee or insect bite, when you have herb skills and supplies planned ahead of time, you'll be in much better shape. We'll engage in a walk-about to learn how to identify common plants in the wild to use for everyday common ailments in the summer. During the second part of this course, you'll prepare and hand craft at least seven different herbal products to include in your first aid kit, from a first aid spray to a skin salve and beyond.

Note:  This course is not a first aid certification course or wilderness medicine course. It is geared toward beginners and intermediate learners.

Physical Ability/Skills Needed
