Felting Introduction

Course Overview

This is a good introduction to felting for those just looking to get started and a fun day for those who have some experience but want to expand their needle felting and wet felting skills.  We will be making flat items of use or just beauty.  Using a needle felting tool is a bit like using a paint brush but more forgiving and no experience is necessary.  After needle felting, wet felting will bind all the fibers together to create a durable material that can be used in countless ways.  We will also play with making pre-felts that can be cut up and used as a design element.  The colors and the options are endless.  Seeing and learning from what everyone else in class makes is one of the pleasures of this class.
