Those of us in the rocky, Northern climes know that the world is a cold hard place. Luckily there’s a felted solution: the wool seat cozy. Add a beautiful and warm wooly cushion to your favorite chair, car seat, canoe, sporting event, dinner table, or take it with you and sit in snug serenity under your favorite tree. Using old wool blankets, wool roving, needle felting and wet felting techniques you will create an attractive and comfortable cushion you can carry with you and add a layer when you need it most.  

If time allows, a second seat cozy may be made for an additional materials fee of $15. 

Youth age 12+ may attend without an adult. Youth 10+ may attend with an adult and register as a pair to work on one project together, or may each make their own cozy (add'l materials fee applies day of). 

Required Tools

• Two towels, a bag to carry home your wet project

Optional Tools

• If you have any yarns, silk fibers, feel free to bring them to add to your project. I will have a variety of colors to play with.  Bring any old blankets or sweaters with holes (wool or not), these can be used for the interior of the seat cozy for added cushion and insulation
