This little antler tray basket is perfect for holding your loose change, trinkets, or to hold your mail. It can also be hung on the wall as an art piece. Students will be weaving on a pre-set round rattan reed framework, which incorporates two pre-drilled antlers. The weaving material is round rattan reed and multi-colored nubby yarn. You'll learn arrow weaving, shaping and packing for sculptural accents and tricks of the trade for drilling the antlers. Instructor will demonstrate proper drilling technique and gluing and will also have several sample trays for inspiration.

Basket Week 2018: Registration in this session of this course includes participation in a day of demonstrations, talks and other activities on Friday, August 31 as part of Basket Week for no additional tuition cost. More information will be provided in mid-summer. Please plan to participate!
