Daffodils, Sweet Grass, and Iris: Baskets from the Garden

Course Overview

Step into the exciting world of patterns and textures in coiled baskets. Using a variety of grasses including sweet grass, daffodils, irises, and sedges, we will explore combining a variety of coiled basket stitches and thread colors to create stunning designs. This class will be a unique way to explore some amazing design possibilities by adding new stitches to our creative scope. These projects will require some hand muscle endurance. Arthritis in hands can make this a challenge, but it can work, with occasional hand rest.

Students ages 14+ are welcome to register for this course independently.
