Crafting the Traditional Longbow and Arrows Webinar

Course Overview

Spend an evening learning about the beauty and functionality of a simple handmade wooden longbow. Instructor Rick will cover types of wood used in bow making, tools needed, bow design decisions and the three common designs used. Students will also learn about tillering (getting the bow to bend correctly) and how to approach this important part of bow-building. The webinar will end with a short overview of making arrows and strings. Whether you getting started in bow making or are just curious about the craft, this webinar will cover the basics and more with plenty of time for student questions.
