Crafting Fine Homemade Hard Cider

Course Overview

You can make a fine light sparkling hard cider as good as any in the world with a minimum of equipment, some apple juice, and time. Come join in the fun as we begin one batch by pitching the yeast and finish another batch by bottling. Participants will all take one-liter of freshly bottled cider home for their own enjoyment. We’ll begin the class by tasting apples and sweet cider to learn the qualities for which we are looking. From there we will go through the process step by step so you can repeat it once you get home. We will finish the session with a sampling of ciders from around the state and the world.
