Autumn Apple Abundance: From Sweet to Savory

Course Overview

Fall means apples in abundance! In anticipation of the Bayfield Apple Festival in early October, join Chef Graden for an exploration of the versatile applications of a sometimes ubiquitous and under-utilized fruit. This class will cover preparing (and eating!) all of these recipes, and more:  apple and cran-apple ciders, apple pie, pickled crabapples with veal bratwurst, apple cider brined pork tenderloin, pommes d'eve, tarte tatin, baked apples, apple sauce and apple butter.

All required tools/materials are provided by your instructor and North House and will be available once the course begins.

On the second day, we will share a communal meal, beginning around 4pm, typically ending by 6pm.  Please feel free to bring a beverage of choice to enjoy with dinner (adult beverages are okay). You are welcome to bring a guest.

Once registered, students will receive a confirmation email with further class information. Please call the front office if you have not received it within 24 hours.
