Après-ski

Course Overview

After a day filled with calorie-burning ski runs, little is more satisfying than coming in from the cold to enjoy a toasty, delicious meal. Take off those boots and shed that outdoor gear—it’s time to feast! Join chef Scott Graden, owner of the New Scenic Café, to concoct some of the most cozy dishes après-ski. Start with steamed artichokes, béarnaise, and fondue, followed by French onion soup, chili, and hearty hunter’s stew, paired with sourdough and croque monsieur. Dessert is a must— you’ve worked hard—so it’s time for a mouth-watering Nutella and whipped cream crêpe. And any winter evening on or off the slopes must include a steaming hot beverage. Perfect your mulled wine, glögg, lingonberry cider, and hot chocolate recipes and make any night feel like one in a mountain-top chalet. Class will culminate with a shared meal on the final day around 4pm. Students may bring a guest to the meal.
