Join Unplugged Featured Performer Prudence Johnson for an introduction to an instrument that goes anywhere, anyone can play, and is guaranteed to make you and those around you happy: the ukulele! Students, including total beginners, will learn a handful of basic, easy to play, chords on the ukulele that open the door to a vast repertoire of folk, blues and popular songs. We will learn a few songs and play and sing them together by the end of the session. Please bring your own ukulele, or notify North House at least one week in advance of the workshop that you will need to borrow one.
