Course Overview
On your next Arctic expedition, avoid the embarrassment of drawing lots to see which of your expedition members turns into the main entree when your food runs out due to poor planning. Through thousands of miles of arctic travel, Lonnie has refined food planning, preparation, and packing to a near art form. In addition to obtaining a wealth of information and practical advice, the class will prepare a batch of modern-day pemmican, a traditional pack food that's hard to beat for nutritional value and utility.
