This workshop introduces participants to the style and technique of the Irish tin whistle, which create the charms and subtleties of Irish music. A hands-on musical experience on a type of instrument central to Irish music, the tin whistle will allow you to learn what makes Irish music sound, well, “Irish.” The workshop is designed for beginners and the instructor will provide tin whistles in the key of D for a materials fee with this workshop (if you have one, please bring it along).
