North Shore Fish Cookery

Course Overview

Celebrate Grand Marais' biggest festival, Fisherman's Picnic, by learning what it is all about…fish! From walleye to salmon, lake trout to fishcakes, this cooking course explores fresh fish preparation for camp and cabin! Learn the art of North Shore Fish Cookery, featuring grilling, planking, frying and smoking techniques. A complete menu featuring the freshest catch of the season will be prepared by the class. Dinner will then be savored by all (outdoors on the North House Harborside campus, weather permitting). Each student will take home numerous recipes.

Currently Scheduled Sessions
