Meet Lise and David Abazs at Round River Farm and experience their homesteading techniques in action. The workshop provides an overview of homesteading topics such as northern gardening, basic animal management, solar and fireless cooking alternatives, water collection systems, wastewater re-use, home power systems, conservation and innovation, and building considerations and techniques. You will leave with ideas, motivation and practical tools to try some of these homesteading techniques in your own life wherever you live. This course will be taught at Round River Farm in Finland, MN. A simple noon meal is provided as part of the workshop.
