Join us October 11th from 6-7:30pm in the Green Building for an evening with solar experts from Solar United Neighbors & Wolf Track Energy! Making the switch to solar power can be overwhelming, but it doesn't need to be! We will lay out the basics to demystify the steps of goin solar in a straghtformward format. Solar 101 will explore:
- types of photovoltaic systems
- financing options, federal tax credits & net metering
- grid-tied PV systems & off-grid PV systems in Cook County
- chargin an electric vehicle with a solar array system
- the Inflation Reduction Act and valuable solar incentives to utilize
- an overview of the Duluth & Arrowhead Region Solar co-op and more!
