Program Overview

Handworks Club is an afterschool club at North House Folk School. Youth in 4th grade and up will build confidence and community as they explore traditional handcraft skills. The five-week winter 2020 session of Handworks Club will focus on felting with youth learning skills in how to make warm, durable woolen items through felting. They will progress from simpler to more complex projects over the weeks.

The club meets on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-5:45 pm at North House. Youth can take the school bus from GES or Sawtooth/ISD 166 or be dropped off at North House.

Ages: Fourth grade and up
Parent pick-up and drop-off: Outdoor commons, center of campus
To sign up: Call us at 387-9762 or stop by the North House School Store (open 7 days/week, 8am - 5pm)
Cost: $50 (Half and full scholarships are available. With half scholarship pay $25, with full scholarship pay $10. Inquire at North House or by phone.)
