Program Overview

Get ready to experience fun with fibers! Join skilled artists from the Northwoods Fiber Guild to create hands-on fiber projects designed specifically for kids and a helpful adult. Students will choose and create their own fiber crafts such as tapestry weaving on a cardboard loom, felting wool containers, Suminagoshi Japanese ink marbling on paper, finger weaving bracelets, sewing felt critters, and Kumihimo braiding cords. Everyone will leave with at least 4 completed projects.

Instructors: Northwoods Fiber Guild
Ages: 7 and up with an adult

Cost: $15 (Scholarships available, please inquire by calling or stopping by North House)
Location: Check in at the School Store (yellow building) on first day of class
Time: 9:30-11:30 am
