Program Overview
Meet Norwegian guest Karin Flatøy Svarstad and see her beautiful felted work this Saturday from 10am-2pm in the Green Building at North House. Karin has been in residence for three weeks, teaching her unique felting style. At noon, she will give a one hour talk about the sheep of the islands North Atlantic Sea, a fascinating and beautiful place with rich history, as well as her cultural center in rural Norway. If you missed it during Northern Fiber Retreat, here's a second chance. Stop by to see feltmaking in action, and stay to hear wooly stories.
