North House Folk School

Tom grew up in Wisconsin with an appreciation for the outdoors. He then worked in a big city for 31 years! Retirement brought Tom back to nature in Northern Michigan and gave him time to do what he loved, woodworking. Tom took a Shaker Basket class thirty years ago and was fascinated with the history and the process. Tom teaches classes in his shop, gives demonstrations to community groups, donates to nonprofits for fund-raising, and sells in galleries.
