North House Folk School

Lauren grew up in Madison, WI, taught English in Japan for almost a decade, and recently settled in Minneapolis to embrace her role of Auntie Extraordinaire to a young niece and a small dog. Lauren discovered North House through the 2018 internship program, during which she pursued her lifelong passion for making in general and sewing in particular. Lauren continues to sew and teach in her spare time and is constantly dreaming of new ways to reuse and repurpose to make simple, functional, beautiful pieces.
