North House Folk School

Kyle began working with leather in his early 20s while attending college in northern Minnesota. He was able to combine his interests in leathercraft and Vikings when he became involved with the Hjemkomst Museum in Moorhead, MN, making reproductions of Viking-Age leather goods. Through the Viking Connection apprenticeship program Kyle traveled to Sweden and Norway in 2018 to study with masters of Viking-Age leather working.
