Jo Campbell-Amsler has been using willow in her basketry work for the past thirty-eight years. Jo’s work has been featured in magazines and books, and has been in exhibits across the United States, one of the most recent being "A Measure of the Earth" at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.

Teaching throughout the United States for guilds, basket conferences and art schools such as Sievers Fiber Art School, John C Campbell Folk School, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Peters Valley School of Craft,and Touchstone Center for Crafts, Jo instructs her students in techniques for baskets made of willow and other gathered materials, sharing and passing on the age-old skills. She has been an active board member of the National Basketry Organization for five years and has worked with other board members to grow the basket community."
