North House Folk School

Jenny Monfore is a Vermont-based farmer florist, old time musician and aspiring homesteader.  On her micro no-till flower farm, Old Time Flowers, she grows sustainable fresh and dried blooms throughout the seasons.  She’s passionate about leading a simple life and doing meaningful work in the world: farming in a cold climate, teaching hands-on workshops and traveling to play old time music with folks near and far.

When she’s not bustling around her garden, you can find her playing fiddle and banjo, two-stepping on the dance floor, taking saunas, hanging out in libraries, and going on travel adventures. She’s searching for a spot to build her homestead basecamp and grow more flowers. Jenny is a NHFS intern alum, back for a visit with her beautiful flowers.
