Drew has practiced traditional woodworking for over 40 years. He started Country Workshops in 1978 in western North Carolina, where he taught traditional woodworking with hand tools. He is the author of many magizine articles and several books on woodworking including Green Woodworking and The Chairmaker’s Workshop. Both of these are currently available in an Author’s Reprint Edition directly from Drew. He Is currently working on an extensively updated version of his 1978 book Country Woodcraft, to be published in 2019 by Lost Art Press.
