David has spent more than 30 years working in clay and teaching. As the son of two professional painters, he has spent much of his ceramics career developing underglaze painting techniques on wheel-formed porcelain pottery. An interest in world cultures and indigenous pottery has exposed him to many clay forming and decorating approaches for his further study.

Molly started her journey into metalsmithing in England over 35 years ago and has since perfected her fabrication skills through workshops with some of the U.S.’s finest jewelers. She and her husband, David, reside in western North Carolina where they conduct various workshops, including Silveramics Jewelry, in their home studios. Both Molly and David are members of the prestigious Southern Highland Craft Guild in Asheville, NC, and travel to national and international locations to teach their craft.
